Living with Relationship OCD

(Constantly questioning your worth and feelings)

Experiencing Doubts About Love

Are you having repetitive doubtful thoughts about your relationship (Relationship OCD)? If so, you’re not alone. It’s very common for people to question their relationship and even their sexuality. It’s perfectly natural for your mind to make creative connections, but sometimes those thoughts become debilitating for people with OCD.

When you have OCD, recurring unwanted thoughts that you’re not worthy of love, you’re not good enough for your partner or that you might not even love your partner are amplified. You may even go so far as to believe that your partner or spouse is cheating on you.

If you suffer from OCD, you have a severe anxiety disorder that can be treated. Start by getting educated on the disorder and making healthy living choices. From there, find a clinical psychologist in your area that is an expert in OCD and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). And remember, neither your nor any professional should ever assign meaning to your thoughts. They are completely meaningless.
